If you are a DragonballZ fan, you'd probably already know a thing or two about the upcoming Dragon Ball: Super. First, the story will pick up shortly after Goku and his friends have defeated Majin Buu (rendering the last couple of episodes of DBZ non-canon) and secondly, the anime will take place after the events of the two most recent DBZ animated films, namely Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’. Now some new details about the storyline of the series' first episode have surfaced, courtesy of the August issue of the V Jump magazine:
After defeating Majin Buu, life is peaceful once again. Ordered by Chi-chi to earn money, Goku works even as he wants to train even more. Meanwhile, Goten, about to become a brother-in-law to Videl, sets out on a journey with Trunks to find her a present.
Seems pretty DBZ-ish and that's definitely a good thing. Also, take a good look at the image above, the new characters seem like the counterpart of Beerus and Whis of a different reality or Universe. They might very well turn out to be the antagonists of the upcoming series.
Also, according to the official website of Toei Animation, Dragon Ball: Super will have a total of 100 episodes. Not bad, although I wish there were more.
Anyway, what do you think about all this? Sound off in the comments section.
