The most important thing in your life--Part 2

There are two different layers of reality within all of us—one is primary and the other is secondary, which essentially means that one has the most effect on the whole and the other one has only a minimal effect. One is real while the other only appears 'real'.

Alright, now the primary level of reality is also called your inner reality. Which means that your thoughts and emotions, mental-emotional reactive patterns, likes and dislikes—all of this is part of your inner reality. To put it simply, whatever happens 'inside' of you, is your inner reality.

And the secondary level of reality is your outer reality, which means it consists of everything that goes on or happens 'outside' of you. The work you do, the places you visit, your relationships and all the things that take place with you in the world belongs to the realm of your outer reality.

This is not just only true for you but for every single human being on the planet and knowing the differences between your realities and how they interact and affect one another is one of the most vitally important things that you can possibly know in Life. Make no mistake, this is beyond mere importance and to live an all around fulfilling life, it's simply essential knowledge.

Knowing which level of reality has the most effect on the whole will help you to successfully pinpoint the areas in your life that truly need your focus. For example—if your computer starts to behave in weird ways like giving random BSODs, freezing and other troubles and if you have a grasp on what parts of the computer impacts the entire system most, you'll be able to narrow your focus down to only a few selected pieces of hardware like the processor, the PSU, the graphics card or the hard drive. Cause these are the primary parts of the computer and thus have the most effect on the whole.

But if you didn't know which parts are primary and which are the secondary ones, you may end up wasting a lot of time and energy on the parts which only have a minimal effect on the system, like the keyboard or the speakers. Just imagine how frustrating it would've been.

Now please take a breath and stop for a moment, cause the next thing you'll see might be a bit shocking. Simply cause you probably haven't heard anything like this.

Ok, so let's begin. Your outer reality is not 'real', in a sense that it's not absolute but is only a outward reflection of your inner reality. And it's your inner reality that actually governs and shapes your entire outer reality.

Here's a simple example why the entire outer world is largely an outward reflection of the inner reality—whenever you become angry, just go and look at the mirror for a few seconds. You see an angry face with eye expressions and all, it's like the anger is literally coming out of you, right? Now whenever you feel joy or ecstasy, just go ahead and take a look at the mirror like before. See the difference?

Now ask yourselves, where is the emotion (anger or joy, in this case) actually coming from? Is it being generated from within or from the outside world? You'll always see that whatever you were seeing in the mirror, is just a pure, 100% honest expression of your inner reality—the thoughts (angry or joyful) that are going through your heads, the emotions that you're feeling, the reactions, all of that stuff is coming out from you and that's exactly what you see in the mirror. It's just your own inner reality reflected back at you.

Now let's take this example a bit further, to further illustrate how much your inner reality affects you. Imagine yourself doing something while you are in a state of anger and deep frustration. You can see that any action you'll perform in that inner state will be of much lower quality—rushed, half-hearted and full of numerous flaws.

Now also imagine yourself doing the same work while in a state of intense joy and happiness. As you can guess, any kind work that will come out of you in that heightened state will be amazing and will even inspire people around you. This is just another very simple example of how your inner state governs your outer reality and molds it.

And the truth is, the inner reality can shape the outer but it's not the other way around. Which means, the outer layer of reality doesn't and cannot affect your inner reality in any way. The outer reality can only give you short-lived and temporary pleasures or gratifications but it can never make any real difference in the way Life happens to you.

If you're deeply sad and unhappy, you'll find that whatever you can manage to acquire or accomplish in the outside world will only give you a temporary sense of satisfaction and nothing more. The deep seated emotional pain will be exactly as it is, cause it's coming from within and instead of addressing it's true source, all you're doing is working on the outer reality. And that's why it's not going to go away, no matter what you do on the outside.

It's only by waking up to your true reality, which is your inner reality, can you be free from all emotional pain, no matter how deep or how old it is. And the beautiful thing is, once you learn how to access the inner reality, longstanding emotions and resentments become actually easy to dissolve, in the power of your presence.

But sadly, since our childhood, we've been taught a very different lesson and that's why even if we manage to succeed in other areas of Life, we always fail where it matters most, on the inside. It's because we've been told only to look at the outer situations of our lives as our true reality when it's only a reflection and it's the inner reality that makes the most difference. That's why most of us simply spend all of their lives just trying to control and 'shape up' the outer reality while never knowing that working only on this outer level of Life will only accomplish surface level changes in our lives that will not have any true lasting effect and cannot bring fulfillment and joy in our lives.

This time again, I want you to pause for a moment before you read the next paragraph.

Think about it, how much of the 'outside' reality do you think you can actually control? Let's see—the stock market, the questions that'll appear in your exams, the thoughts and behaviors of other people (which affect all your relationships), the 'future', what have already been done to you or what you have done to other people in the past (all the good and bad things), the economic world, do you honestly think you can truly 'control' any of these things? All the forces that are at play here and collectively make up the outer reality, how much of that do you think you have power over?

However, this article is not suggesting that you shouldn't focus or work on the outer situation of your life. It's simply saying that you become aware of which is which—what is real and what is only the 'result' of the 'real'. Then work from that place of knowledge and see how much of a difference it makes in your life. As Eckhart Tolle said in The Power of Now--”If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place”. Sounds unbelievable? Just try it out and see for yourself.

The next part of this article will show you how to access your inner reality and start the inward journey to know who or what is it that you truly are—beyond your physical and psychological make-up.

Dragon Age 2 guide: Bloodlusted Forcemage

The mage has always been the most powerful class in the dragon age games----dealing devastating area of effect (AOE) spells & single target damages enough to obliterate anyone dare to cross his path...until they start paying attention to him. As soon as his enemies get to him, he's dead meat. The mage is as powerful as he/she is squishy. But all that changes with the Bloodlusted Forcemage (BF mage). Remember the mage from the opening sequence after choosing the class in DA2? The BFmage is similar to that in terms of both raw power & defense. The BFmage do not hide & do not run away at the first sign of threat and can easily go toe-toe toe with his foes alongside the warrior or tanks. It was my second playthrough as a mage when I found this build after much experimenting with the class. And yes, the Bloodlusted Forcemage completely obliterates The Arishok in Nightmare with ease & that's when I know this build really works. Vulgar display of Pow

Dragon Age 2 guide----The Shadowy Assassin

"It's a ghost, it's a one hit killer, oh no it's the Shadowy Assassin"----Lieutenant That's actually the most apt description I've found for this unbelievably powerful build, believe it or not. The Shadowy Assassin (SA) is simply an unstoppable force of nature. He moves so fast that enemies have a hard time trying to get a bead on him, annihilates weaker foes with one shot (not talking about spike damage)----even after some archers actually manage to focus on him, all they can manage to hit is a rigged decoy ready to blow into smithereens. Meanwhile the SA makes short work of them from behind, and when that Lieutenant is the only one left standing, something beautiful happens----the mage puts a winter's grasp/cone of cold on him, the SA throws something at the Lieutenant & when he thinks he's got it figured, only the cracking sound of bones getting crunched is heard----poetry in motion. The fight is over before it ever had a ch

The Best Live version of Comfortably Numb

Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb is undoubtedly one of the greatest pieces of music ever composed on the electric guitar. And if you’ve heard the studio version, it’s literally impossible to not get blown away by the myriads of live versions of the solo that Gilmour has played through the years (or decades). And the great thing about the live renditions is that each of them brings a distinctly characteristic feel to the solo--making all of them memorable and stand on their own, it’s almost like different takes on the original studio version. For example, the Delicate Sound of Thunder version has a darker and more tormented feel overall, there are parts of the solo where it’s unlike anything ever heard from Gilmour. This version is also the most ‘badass’ and raw version of the Comfortably Numb solo, which was how Gilmour played it during the Momentary Lapse tour in the late 80’s. And until Live in Gdansk came out, this was my favorite version of the solo. Also, Gilmour’s gu
